SAMPLE ANSWERS

Question: Do you like your hometown?

Answer: Yes, I really like my hometown. I come from Namdinh, a small city located in the north of Vietnam, about 100 kilometers away from the capital city of Hanoi. It's a place that holds a special place in my heart.

Question: How long have you been living there?

Answer: I have been living in Namdinh for most of my life. I was actually born and raised there, so I spent a good 18 years of my life in that city. However, when I entered university, I moved to Hanoi to pursue my higher education.

Question: What do you like to do in the countryside?

Answer: In the countryside, I enjoy the peaceful environment and the opportunity to connect with nature. One of my favorite things is visiting Vi Xuyen Lake and watching the breathtaking sunset. Additionally, I love indulging in local street food, such as tasty sticky rice ice cream, crunchy bread, and mouth-watering boiled snails. It's a wonderful experience.

Question: How has your town changed over the last 20 years?

Answer: Over the past 20 years, my town has undergone significant changes. One noticeable change is the replacement of ancient houses with modern ones. The textile factory, which used to be the largest in the northern region of Vietnam, has also been downsized. Moreover, the town now features larger streets and more green parks, providing its residents with a more pleasant and sustainable environment.

Question: Would you like to live in the countryside in the future?

Answer: Perhaps. I am really drawn to the idea of living in the countryside because of the fresh air and tranquility it offers. In the future, I would love to have a flower garden and an orchard, where I can immerse myself in nature and enjoy a peaceful lifestyle.

Question: What is the difference between living in the countryside and the city?

Answer: Living in the countryside and the city offers distinct experiences. In the countryside, life is more peaceful and has a slower pace. There's a stronger connection to nature, and the environment is generally quieter and less crowded. On the other hand, living in the city is characterized by more hustle and bustle. Cities offer convenient transportation links, well-equipped facilities such as schools, hospitals, and entertainment centers, and more robust opportunities for education and professions for its residents. It's a more dynamic and fast-paced lifestyle compared to the countryside.
